E-Bikes: Test Before You Invest

Hanleys Environmental Group is promoting e-bikes to help people reduce their carbon footprint, associated transport costs as well as improving fitness and wellbeing.

E-bikes are a big investment and for regular use it is best to buy a good quality bike with proven after-sales service. If you are considering buying an e-bike but would like to 'try before you buy', you can now do so locally (perhaps using it on one of your typical shopping or commuting journeys). You can borrow a bike for up to two weeks, on a donation basis.

There are two types of bike available to borrow, including a step-through type, which can be easier to mount. Collection and return locations are run by volunteers within the parish.
